I can't just sit back half asleep in the class and still know what's going on anymore! This new course is intense, and involves a lot of participation.
My first day? Making an argument in front of the class... This is far beyond any of the exercises we've done in any of my other German language classes.
Day 2? Discussions. Full-on discussions. We were given topics and then sat across from a partner and had to get into a discussion about topics (that could be somewhat controversial) while the teacher walked around correcting us and listening-in.
One thing's for sure. My German will improve even more! This is exactly what I need to get better.
