Have you ever worked incredibly hard for something that was important to you, and in return, got the results that mirrored your efforts?
I just did.
On the midterm exam that I wrote about for weeks on end... I got grades better than I was striving for. "1" on the written exam?! Are you kidding me?! I just learned how to speak German in the last year and a half.
If I could put into words how good I feel right now, in this moment, I would. There is nothing I've done up until this point that has really made me feel so successful. Graduating from college was great and it was an accomplishment, but it was something that was expected of me. This, on the other hand, was not expected of me... and it feels so good...
