Holy Burst of American Flavor!

Today, I finally received that my last package of Christmas gifts from my parents.  There's only one good thing about missing Christmas at home, and that's getting a surprise package a few weeks after Christmas because, for whatever reason, packages take 3 weeks to travel here.

As I was opening the package, I found a vacuum sealed package that contained chocolate cookies or candies... I wasn't quite sure what they were...

For about 10 years, my Dad tried to make his own vacuum sealer consisting of a tube and, of course, a vacuum.  For about 10 years, I told him to buy the one that's constantly advertised on T.V.  That man was determined.

Eventually he gave up and bought the commercialized vacuum sealer and let me tell you all... he is getting every last bit of use out of that sucker.

I'm not saying vacuum packaging things are bad... It's wonderful.  I get vacuum packaged, fresh, homemade rice krispy treats sent to me.  They're delicious...

And now these...

They had to be homemade because of the vacuum sealing... but by who?

No name, no label...

What are they?

What's under the chocolate?

These questions were rolling around in my head, until I came up with the obvious.  TAKE A BITE!

HOLY BURST OF AMERICAN FLAVOR!

They're chocolate covered Oreos!

Kudos... Kudos to you who made these... I still have yet to learn who that was... But Kudos to you!
