I may be in my January rut. Not so much as general life rut... but blog rut.
I haven't really provided too much information recently. I'm sorry.
Right now I have my 30 days of Yoga which is going fantastically...
Never felt better. Honestly, it's worth doing and I'm saying this only on day 15.
I am also starting to check out some ideas for my final exam. Gasp! The theme is "Ich habe eine Vision." I have a vision. I finally came to the conclusion that I really like this theme. There's a lot I can do with this. After all, it's my vision that I have to interpret, not someone else's. I'll be showing you all what I've been up to pretty soon.
But now. It's No Stress Chocolate Chip Cookies.
What's more "no stress" than chocolate chip cookies?
NOTHING
They are the epitome of no stress. They are so no stress that you don't even need a recipe because on the back of every bag of chocolate chips is the perfect recipe.
Don't deviate from that.
This is the only time I'll probably tell you not to deviate from anything. I'm all about the deviating.
Not this time. If fact, I'm not even going to provide you all with the recipe... because you don't need it!
Did you know that my mother and all her sisters know the recipe by heart? That's some serious no stress baking...
What's with the no stress baking?
I'm writing my resume and cover letters for job opportunities after my apprenticeship.
I'm writing my resume and cover letters in German.
That is why I'm baking no stress. Cover letter... in German.
It just hits me like a brick wall of stress. Just contemplating it... Just attempting it... Just imagining the finished product...
Brick. Wall. Of. Stress.
Eating cookies. No stress.

LOL!! Greta tells me that the stress of baking choc chip cookies in Germany is finding the chocolate chips?! How did you get them? ;-)
ReplyDeletePs I enjoy your blog and it is inspiring me to march on w/ the one Greta started for me.
You are right! They are impossible and when I find them, the size of the bag is a quarter of what it should be :) your lovely daughter brought them back for me to bake with
DeleteHow wonderful cc's nothing like them!!!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately you eat so many of the awesome cookies, you get a serious sugar high! They don't last long around here.......
ReplyDeleteI have found that, while I do not deviate from the recipe on the back of the pack, I do have to add about 1/4 cup of flour as the flour here is different from American flour... Indeed, the chocolate chips over here are different and the packages too small. They don't melt right...
ReplyDeleteYou want to stay in Germany after your final exam? Did you ever consider Leysieffer (http://www.leysieffer.de/)? They are the top in chocolate and cakes in Germany.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the tip! I checked out the site! Very nice, and definitely something I will be checking out!
